In 2025, the group consolidated its research activities around three strategic areas. First, the development of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals and targeted molecular therapies, primarily in oncology, with four radiopharmaceutical candidates and two molecular therapies currently under development, as well as two radiopharmaceuticals for ulcerative colitis. Second, digital health and artificial intelligence, focused on generating validated diagnostic and prognostic digital biomarkers, particularly in oncology and metabolic diseases, and on developing algorithms for automated medical image segmentation. Third, infective endocarditis, where the group continues to pioneer innovative imaging-based approaches for non-invasive and personalized diagnosis and management. While also active in fields such as histotripsy, simulation technologies, and telemedicine, these three pillars have delivered the greatest scientific impact, competitive funding, and high-impact publications.
