We are a multidisciplinary group of paediatricians and biologists dedicated to clinical and translational research in rare respiratory and endocrinology paediatric diseases and in common chronic diseases like asthma, diabetes, and obesity. Also, we investigate on neonatal nutrition and paediatric imaging. Our translational research has led in 2025 to important contributions to international guidelines on diagnosis for primary ciliary dyskinesia and asthma transition, and advances in the management of asthma, cystic fibrosis, interstitial lung diseases in children and endocrinologic rare diseases. We have conducted several studies on the clinical and molecular characterization of rare respiratory diseases (bronchiolitis obliterans, primary ciliary dyskinesia, bronchiectasis) and endocrinological diseases (congenital hyperinsulinism, growth hormone deficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia). We have also performed studies on allergies and imaging studies.
