Our 3D hub for Oral and Maxillofacial is now our go-to platform to plan and perform our surgeries. We routinely use 3D-planning, navigation, computer-assisted design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) techniques to create custom-made prostheses that adapt to each patient’s individual needs. Besides, we use the intraoperative scanner Loop-X for intraoperatively acquired image-guided surgery, a key tool that helps us ensure that surgery has been performed according to plan. This significantly reduces the need for further surgeries later, which is extremely helpful for the patient and an asset to our Hospital as well. Competitive funds were obtained to develop a project in the context of the Spanish multi-center collaboration for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with Fanconi Anemia and oral diseases. In our cancer research line, we have continued our collaboration in several clinical trials led by the VHIO.
