During the year 2025 we have been following our work on metabolic regulation with Cerium oxide NPs (CeO2 NPs), with ionizable lipid nanoparticles (iLNPs) for oligonucleotide deliver, and gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) conjugated with cisplatin for enhanced radio and chemotherapy. With cerium oxide nanoparticles (CeO₂ NPs), we leveraged their ROS-scavenging properties to restore immunosurveillance, preventing death in a peripheral T-cell lymphoma mouse model. Using the same NPs, we also elucidated the causal role of diesel exhaust particles in ventricular arrhythmogenesis and the protective effects of CeO₂ NPs. Regarding ionizable lipid nanoparticles (iLNPs), we completed a unified methodology for producing high-quality NPs capable of encapsulating any oligonucleotide sequence, from siRNA to large plasmids. With gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) conjugated to cisplatin, we developed their application in radiotherapy to consolidate tumor cell DNA damage and prevent repair.
