At the Neurovascular Research Laboratory, we have led a range of research projects and industry collaborations focused on stroke, vascular dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. By expanding our patient cohorts and conducting multiple preclinical studies, we have worked to identify novel biomarkers for stroke recovery and for the diagnosis of other neurological conditions. In addition, we have evaluated new therapeutic compounds in preclinical stroke models, aiming to promote neuroprotection and enhance tissue repair. We have also strengthened collaborations with biotech and pharmaceutical companies, contributing to the preclinical development of innovative treatments for both stroke and Alzheimer’s disease.
