The Health Services Research Group drives high-impact research in healthcare organization, strategy, and management, focusing on evaluating services and interventions in terms of effectiveness, quality, safety, efficiency, and person-centred care, within a value-based healthcare approach. In 2025, key priorities included assessing the impact of integrated, knowledge-based clinical management models tailored to care intensity; identifying and validating predictive indicators to support performance management and decision-making in a tertiary hospital setting; and advancing research in healthcare process management through the development, standardization, and evaluation of process-based methodologies. The group also strengthened research on patient participation and experience, and further advanced patient safety through innovative, evidence-based approaches.
