The research group focuses on studying musculoskeletal problems to improve orthopedic treatment outcomes, concentrating on traumatic injuries, bone septic diseases, and pathologies of the knee, hip, hand, shoulder, and foot. Our researchers remain strongly committed to high-level clinical research through active collaboration with leading national and international groups in our field, while also leading independent single-center studies within our institution. In 2025, the group was awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) grant for a trial on pelvic ring fragility fractures, together with a SEROD Young Investigators Grant to study constriction in knee arthroplasty components. During the year, 5 doctoral theses were successfully defended. Clinical research and scientific career development, including PhD training, continue to be actively promoted within the group. The team played a leading role in national and international congresses and training courses throughout the year.
